Our practice is a reflection of our like-minded values, client-centric approach, and philosophy to personally live our mission to create a life that allows you to flourish, cultivate wealth in every area of your life, and spend time on what you love and with those you love.

Our core values.

Integrity & Professionalism

We are bound to a high fiduciary standard to act with integrity, objectivity, and professionalism. When we listen, think, and act - we have your best interest at the heart of it. We do not accept any commissions, referral fees, or other kickbacks. In other words, you never have to question whose best interest we serve.

Trust & Accountability

We wrote the book on professional standards for CPAs who do what we do - and we take that responsibility to heart. Working side by side with you, we build a trust-based, collaborative relationship – accountable to your interests in all we do when delivering integrated, individualized, objective fee-only planning and tax services without asset management or product sales.

Excellence & Ingenuity

With a combined 50+ years of experience and education, we bring up-to-date advice along with time-tested strategies and thoughtful solutions in the areas of taxes, personal finance, and planning so that you can spend your time, energy, and resources on what you love and with those you love.

Kindness & Fun

We are personally committed to living our mission. We spend time on what we love and with those we love: family, friends, and community. We cultivate wealth in all areas of our lives through experiences in travel, motorcycling, coaching youth sports, running, philanthropy, faith, and other volunteer commitments.

Sarah

About Sarah.

Hi! I’m Sarah Bradley. When I was 5 years old, I knew I wanted to be a CPA. I would pretend to play “office” where I would help business owners (i.e., my entrepreneurial-spirited friends) make sound financial decisions. I realized this dream when I graduated from NC State University with a master’s in accounting and became a CPA working for Ernst & Young.

Inspired to learn more about how CPAs serve as a fiduciary to individuals and families in providing planning and tax services, I spent over a decade at the Association of International Certified Professional Accountant (AICPA), surrounded by the smartest, kindest, and most compassionate CPAs.

I led the team who wrote the professional standards for CPAs providing personal financial planning services; ethical responsibility is important to me. I implemented undergraduate and graduate-level accounting programs to educate college students about estate, retirement, insurance, and tax planning; education is important to me. I hosted the AICPA's Personal Financial Planning podcast, collaborating with nationally-known experts to bring the best strategies and latest thinking to my fellow like-minded CPAs; connecting with others is important to me. All of these make me a better advocate for the individuals and families I work with; my fiduciary duty to them is important to me.

I am honored to have been recognized three years in a row by the CPA Practice Advisor's Top 40 Under 40 CPAs who are leading, innovating, and collaborating to provide unity and visibility of the accounting profession.

Today, I am grateful to follow my passion: I love helping people even more than I love numbers, and that’s how I ended up here at Edwards Bradley PC, alongside Dirk Edwards. Together, we help individuals and families align their financial resources with what is most meaningful and important to them through integrated, personalized, objective fee-only planning and tax services.

I live in North Carolina with my husband, son, daughter, dogs, cats, a shoal of tiny sea creatures, a frog or two, and a parrot. I enjoy shooting archery and photography. I hope that I am inspiring my children to be kind and compassionate people who have a meaningful impact on the lives of others.

Thanks for taking a minute to learn about me. I look forward to learning about you.
